Adding a New Patient
Step 1: Navigate to Patients
Click on "Patients" in the main navigation menu, then click "Add New Patient".
Step 2: Enter Demographics
Fill in the patient's basic information:
- First Name and Last Name (required)
- Date of Birth (required)
- Gender
- Contact information (phone, email, address)
Step 3: Add Insurance Information (Optional)
If applicable, enter the patient's insurance details:
- Insurance provider
- Policy number
- Group number
- Subscriber information
Step 4: Emergency Contacts
Add emergency contact information for patient safety.
Step 5: Consent Forms
Have the patient complete required consent forms.
Tips
- Use the patient portal to allow patients to complete intake forms themselves
- Verify all information for accuracy
- Update insurance information regularly
